The Strong Friend

At Eye In Me, we know that being the strong friend means you’re the one everyone turns to in times of need. You are the reliable support system, the problem solver, and the emotional rock for those around you.

Common Issues and Manifestations

Despite your outward strength, stress and psychological discomfort can subtly infiltrate your life, often unnoticed by others. You might experience emotional exhaustion, burnout, and a sense of isolation, as you prioritize others’ needs over your own. These mental health challenges often manifest as irritability, chronic fatigue, or a perpetual sense of being overwhelmed.

Our Approach

Our therapists specialize in culturally responsive care that recognizes and validates your experiences. We help you develop strategies to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and prioritize self-care. Our goal is to support you in finding a balance that allows you to take care of yourself while continuing to be there for others.

Eye In Me is dedicated to creating easy access to culturally responsive therapy for Black people and adjacent communities. I support those who support others. Whether you’re a leader in your family or workplace, a business owner, or the one who keeps everything running smoothly, people rely on you to have the answers. There’s little room for uncertainty, so you figure it out—again and again. But even the strongest need space to set their burdens down. My goal is to provide that space, helping you care for yourself as well as you care for everyone else—sustainably, and with support.
